Read out loud aboard the Banned Bookmobile! 
This October the Alaska Bookmobile is being transformed into a Banned Bookmobile and mobile recording studio in celebration of Banned Books Week 2023! Find us at a pop-up event in Anchorage or the Mat-Su for a live read-out and take home a banned book:

10/4/23 3-7pm @ Black Birch Books (Wasilla)

10/7/23 12-4PM @ Writer’s Block Bookstore (Anchorage)

Hop on board and exercise the freedom to read by recording a passage from your favorite banned or challenged book. Recordings will be played over the radio on KONR-LP 106.1 FM (Out North Radio) and other local stations!​
