The Mental Health Mosaics Art Show was made possible by:
Community Mosaics
Out North is partnering with the Habitat for Humanity ReStore to create a community mosaic celebrating mental health.
Using repurposed materials from the ReStore, participants decorated tiles about mental health. The whole tiles representing strengths and the smashed tiles representing struggles. You can see the completed works in the exterior windows of the ReStore at 1200 W Northern Lights Blvd in midtown Anchorage all through May. You can also view the gallery and learn more here! |
Create your own art!
Mental Health Mosaics collaborated with A Window Between Worlds to create worksheets and creative prompts to accompany each topic. You don't need to be an artist nor have any technical skills, materials, or even a printer. Think of each worksheet as opening a "window of time" for you to tap into your own thoughts about mental health.
Each worksheet can be downloaded and used for free. You can also download the complete workbook, which also has poetry and coloring pages.
