April 1 & 2 (7:30PM), April 3 (4PM) Out North Fringe kicks off with "Psycho Sarah" an original work by Toni Press-Coffman, starring Sarah MacMillan, and directed by Carey Seward. "Psycho Sarah" is a one-woman, two-puppet play about the journey from mental illness and addiction to wellness and recovery. Join us for a Q&A after each show. MoHagani Magnetek (Every Good Shero Poetry On Skates), Allison Akootchook Warden (aulayaiqsimarugut - we are immoveable/we are steadfast), and Angela Ramirez (A Spenard Trilogy: The Crazy Lady, A Lovers Quarrel, and The FBI) as they take us far out and back again in three daring, provocative, and original pieces under 30 minutes each, with Raquel Polanco as our host! |

April 2nd (10AM-1PM) April 9th (10AM-1PM) Workshops with Ptery Lieght exploring theater as a vehicle to tell stories and make change. Participants will be introduced to basic concepts and techniques of Theater of the Oppressed and Theater for Living, and themes of houselessness and home and madness and sanity will be explored through conversation and exercises.
