Banned Books Week was September 26 - October 2. This year, Out North and the Anchorage Public Library teamed up again to present unAUTHORized - a special September series highlighting challenged books and discussing themes of censorship, intellectual freedom, and the importance of libraries.
During the month of September, excerpts from banned and challenged books aired weekdays on KONR-LP 106.1 FM alongside weekly panel discussions. Recordings of the panel discussions are available for listening below! |
