This is a very exciting time for Out North, as it ramps up its visual arts and radio programming to deliver on its mission of advancing contemporary art in Anchorage, supporting under-represented voices and encouraging cultural dialogue.
Out North’s first exhibit of the 2017-2018 Season - Trumpazo! Artists participating in Trumpazo! created work that is thought provoking and provides a context for dialogue and conversation between art and viewers, as well as the community at large. Artists include: Mariano Gonzales, Indra Arriaga, Yuliya Helgesen-Thompson, Thomas Chung, Holly Nordlum, William Kozloff, and Dick Sanders. Writer and performance artist Mohagani Magnetek performed at the opening and it was awesome!
